If the application for suspension is dismissed, the applicant party can submit a request for continuation of proceedings within a period of thirty days in order to initiate the proceedings concerning the action for annulment. If the action for suspension was contained in the application for annulment, each applicant will have to pay another fee of 200 euros. If the applicant does not submit a request for continuation of proceedings in time, he shall be deemed to have no longer the required interest in the case and his appeal will be dismissed.

If the challenged decision is suspended, the opposing party can ask for continuation of proceedings within a period of thirty days. If it does not do so, the Council of State can annul the decision without further debate.
